Dr. Robert Speirs, DC
The principle chiropractor of Aberdeen Chiropractic in Winnipeg, Dr. Robert Speirs was born and raised in Manitoba, where he received a Bachelor’s of Physical Education degree from the University of Manitoba. After completing his first degree, Dr. Speirs headed to Sydney, Australia, where he earned a Doctorate of Chiropractic through Macquarie University. During his education at Macquerie University, he was awarded the Gary Stavrou Prize for excellence in chiropractic skills.
Following graduation, Dr. Speirs acted as the Director of Rehabilitation with the Walkley Chiropractic Group in Western Australia and specialized in the treatment of lower back pain, neck pain, whiplash, and headache.
In 2007, Dr. Speirs returned home to Manitoba and began his practice at Aberdeen Chiropractic along with the clinic’s founder, Dr. Garry Specht.
For his excellence in the field of chiropractic, Dr. Speirs was named in the 2012 edition of The Leading Physicians of the World publication. He is Manitoba’s only chiropractor to earn this rare distinction.
Bryan holds a degree as an Advanced Remedial Massage Therapist, from the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba. He also has a background in Anatomy, Exercise Physiology and Sport Sciences with courses from the University of Manitoba.
Since 2005, Bryan has been dedicated to helping all people with chronic and acute pain caused by soft-tissue damage. His training and experience make him uniquely qualified to treat a wide variety of pain and dysfunction and to give instruction on prevention and self-care.
Dr. Garry Specht, DC
In 2011, Dr. Garry Specht retired after 34 years of dedicated service to his patients. We would all like to thank him for his hard work, passion, and professionalism that he demonstrated to his patients and profession.
His files remain at our office and Dr. Specht is eager to assist all of Dr. Specht’s previous patients.
